Omar Calvillo is the Executive Director and Founder of From Wrong to Strong Ministries. After experiencing his own journey of transformation through Jesus Christ, he committed his life to sharing stories of redemption, hope, and second chances. With a background that includes incarceration, leadership development, and nearly two decades in the manufacturing industry, Omar brings both lived experience and practical leadership to the ministry. He serves as a podcast host, speaker, church leader, ordained chaplain and prison ministry volunteer, driven by a deep conviction that no life is beyond God’s reach. Omar is a devoted husband and father and is passionate about equipping others to move from darkness to purpose.
Juan was born and raised on the Southwest side of Chicago, which he still calls home today. He has worked as an educator in the city's Little Village community for over 17 years and also serves as a bivocational location pastor of Newlife Community Church in Cicero, IL. Juan is passionate about seeing young people rise up to be both civic and spiritual leaders in their communities. He and his wife Rosa have 4 young adult/adult children, 1 granddaughter and a Golden Doodle named Burhle.
Francisco (Cisco) Terrazas joined From Wrong To Strong ministry because his heart deeply longs for those who are lost and searching for truth. Having once felt lost himself, he understands the emptiness that only Christ can fill. A life-altering moment came when he nearly lost his life on the freeway after his car went under the freight trailer of an 18-wheeler. By God’s grace, he walked away alive — a turning point that led him fully to Christ. Today, Francisco is a devoted husband and father of three amazing children. Professionally, he serves as a Product Engineering Manager, bringing strong leadership and advanced technical expertise to his work. He also faithfully serves at his local church, New Life Cicero, helping others grow in their walk with Jesus.
Ann Calvillo serves as Secretary of the Executive Board for From Wrong to Strong Ministries. Together with her husband, Omar, she carries a deep calling to serve the marginalized and those seeking restoration through Christ. As a Biblical Counselor at Pacific Garden Mission, Ann works on the front lines, walking alongside individuals with the hope and truth of the Gospel. She brings compassion, clarity, and strong organizational leadership to the board, helping ensure the ministry operates with integrity, transparency, and faithful stewardship. She and Omar have been married for 21 years and are grateful to serve Christ together while raising their three children.
